This exciting new venture will allow Lacoste customers to have an immersive shopping experience in a virtual environment before purchasing. The store provides customers direct access to the online store, making shopping convenient and efficient.

The Campaign – To Provide Customers an immersive Shopping Experience

Lacoste partnered with Emperia, a virtual store development platform for retailers and fashion, to create its virtual reality store. Emperia’s CEO, Olga Dogadkina, stated that Lacoste is “bridging the gap between holiday shopping and gamification with this unique virtual experience.”

The virtual store allows customers to explore Lacoste’s clothing collection in a virtual space, making shopping more convenient.

The virtual store’s main purpose is to give customers an immersive shopping experience before making a purchase.

The brand wants to attract a wide range of demographics. Also tap into the holiday shopping market by offering a unique and enjoyable shopping experience.

The gamified feature in the store is also aimed at encouraging shoppers to experience the brand’s collection in new ways.

The virtual store on Metaverse allows customers to explore Lacoste’s clothing collection in a virtual space before making a purchase, making the shopping process more convenient.

The virtual environment also provides customers direct access to the online store, which is a great benefit.

This campaign is different from other campaigns that Lacoste has done in the past. As it is the first virtual store of the brand on Metaverse.

It’s a new development that provides customers with a more immersive shopping experience by exploring the clothing collection in a virtual space.

The virtual store is also a unique experience for customers as it utilizes NFTs practically, creating a sense of community.

How Did the Campaign Perform?

It is too soon to determine the results of the virtual store campaign. However, with the trend of virtual shopping experiences quickly catching on, Lacoste’s virtual store poise to attract a wide range of customers.

It is assumed that the virtual store was well-received by customers and successfully provided them with a more immersive shopping experience.

Lacoste’s virtual store is the brand’s latest web3-related project. Earlier in the year, it launched UNDW3, which involved 11,212 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that allowed access to events and products.

The virtual store features five seasonal products that customers can view 360 degrees. Additionally, a gamified feature in the store will enable customers to interact with more products in the brand’s Christmas range.

This virtual store launch differs from Lacoste’s previous campaigns, as it taps into a unique and innovative way of shopping that provides customers with a fun and practical experience.

What could Lacoste Learn from Other Brand Campaigns in the Metaverse?

Lacoste’s first-ever virtual store is a revolutionary step in the fashion industry. The partnership with Emperia allowed Lacoste to provide its customers with an immersive and interactive shopping experience.

With the ability to explore the collection in a virtual space and directly access the online store, customers can now have a more convenient and personalized shopping journey.

The virtual store also offers a gamified feature and a token-gated room that can attract a wide range of demographics, bridging the gap between holiday shopping and gamification.

Using NFTs creates a sense of community, positions Lacoste as a fashion trailblazer, and sets a new standard for e-commerce and web3 innovation.

However, Lacoste can learn more from other brands’ campaigns in the Metaverse, such as Forever 21, which created “Forever 21 Shop City” in Roblox. Forever 21 gamified shopping store also provides an immersive experience to their customers.
